What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website saves to your device when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to website owners about how their site is being used.

Cookies do not contain executable code and cannot carry viruses. They hold only the information the website explicitly places in them. You can view and delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.

There are two main types: session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, and persistent cookies, which remain on your device for a set period. We use both, depending on the purpose.

Cookies we use

Essential cookies

Always active

These cookies are necessary for the website to function. They cannot be switched off as the site cannot work properly without them.

Analytics cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the website by collecting anonymous, aggregated information. They tell us which pages are visited most often and how people move through the site. We use this information to improve the website.

Cookie duration

Cookies come in two forms based on how long they last:

Session cookies

These are temporary and are automatically deleted when you close your browser. They are used to maintain session state during a single visit.

Persistent cookies

These remain on your device for a defined period (from 24 hours to 2 years depending on the cookie). They can be deleted at any time through your browser settings.

Under Thailand's PDPA, you have the right to:

  • Withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal
  • Request information about what personal data we hold about you, including data collected via cookies
  • Request deletion of personal data associated with your device, where no legal obligation requires us to retain it
