Why Lumikra
The case for working with an independent advisory firm
What you get with Lumikra that you do not usually get from the alternatives — set out plainly, without overselling.
Back to HomeCore advantages
Six things we do consistently well
Senior advisory involvement throughout
The advisors who scope your engagement are the same people who conduct the interviews, draft the documents, and present the findings. Work is not handed off to junior staff after the initial scoping call.
- No bait-and-switch on staffing
- Continuity from first meeting to final deliverable
Complete independence from vendors
Lumikra holds no referral agreements, reseller arrangements, or partnership certifications with any software vendor or systems integrator. Our fee comes entirely from the client.
- No undisclosed incentives to recommend any product
- Shortlists built on client criteria, not relationships
Concrete written deliverables
Every engagement concludes with a document you own and can refer back to. We do not rely on verbal debriefs or slide decks that become hard to interpret three months later.
- Roadmaps, reviews, and comparison matrices as written outputs
- One review round built into every engagement
Staff-level understanding before recommendations
Before any analysis is written, we spend time with the staff who actually use the systems and carry out the workflows under review. Their perspective shapes what we look for and what we conclude.
- Structured interviews with operational staff
- Findings distinguish staff input from our own interpretation
Fixed fees for defined scopes
Our three engagements are priced at fixed rates for their standard scope. You know what you are committing to before the work begins. Revised fees are only discussed if a scope change is substantial and agreed by both parties.
- No time-and-materials billing uncertainty
- Transparent pricing published on the website
Plain, readable findings
Our outputs are written for a general management audience. We avoid jargon, acronyms without explanation, and framework names that obscure rather than illuminate what we are actually saying.
- Reports a non-technical director can read without a translator
- Language that distinguishes finding from recommendation

Professional expertise
Lumikra advisors bring direct operational and advisory experience from within organisations, not solely from consulting firms. That matters because the questions that come up during a digital advisory engagement — what systems are actually used, where the data quality breaks down, why a tool that looked good in the demo was not adopted — are grounded in day-to-day operational reality, not in frameworks designed for large enterprise transformation programmes.
Our advisors have worked inside organisations managing systems, running procurement processes, and dealing with the friction that comes from tooling that no longer fits. That background is what we bring to client engagements.
Structured process
Each engagement type follows a consistent structure that has been refined across multiple client projects. That consistency means you know what to expect at each stage, and it means our advisors can manage their time efficiently without rediscovering the same process design questions for every client.
Structured engagements also make it easier to contain scope. When a conversation heads in a useful but unexpected direction during an interview, a well-defined process helps us note that for a potential follow-on rather than letting it expand the current scope without a conscious decision.
Attentive client engagement
We limit the number of engagements running in parallel so that each client receives proper attention. When you send a question between scheduled check-ins, it gets a substantive response the same working day in most cases.
We also make a point of flagging things that concern us early rather than waiting until the final report. If something we encounter during an engagement changes our view of the scope or the likely recommendations, we raise it with you promptly.
Proportionate pricing
Our engagement fees are calibrated for mid-sized organisations in the Thai market. They are not the cheapest option available, but they are substantially lower than the rate cards of large international consulting firms while reflecting the experience and the seriousness of output that this kind of advisory work demands.
The Product Vendor Selection Support engagement, at ฿4,500, is sized for organisations that need structured help with a specific procurement decision. The Discovery and Roadmap engagement, at ฿34,200, reflects the six to eight weeks of structured work involved.
Usable outcomes
Our measure of a successful engagement is whether the output gets used. A roadmap that sits unread in a shared drive is not a success, regardless of how thorough the analysis was. We write recommendations with implementation in mind — noting what the first reasonable steps are, what the dependencies are, and where we think an organisation should move carefully rather than quickly.
We also include a post-engagement debrief session as standard, so that any questions about the document can be addressed before the engagement formally closes.

What makes us different
Features you will not find everywhere
Engagements that end with something useful
Not every advisory engagement concludes with a document the client can act on. Ours do. The written roadmap, the workflow review report, and the vendor comparison matrix are designed to be picked up by a leadership team six months later and still be legible and useful.
Honesty when something is not ready
If we conclude during a Discovery engagement that an organisation is not yet in a position to act on a digital roadmap — because a leadership change is pending, because the data quality is too poor to build on, or for any other reason — we say so plainly in the report. That is more useful to you than a roadmap built on shaky foundations.
Scenario-designed demos for vendor selection
For the Vendor Selection engagement, we do not let vendors run their own standard demo scripts. We design scenario-based demos built around your actual use cases, so that the comparison reflects how the product would work in your context rather than how it works in the vendor's best-case walkthrough.
Thailand market and regional context
Our advisors have worked in or with organisations across Thailand and the broader Southeast Asian region. Vendor shortlists take into account local support availability, Thai-language capability where relevant, and the practical considerations that matter for organisations operating in this market.
